Permanent Jewelry Training | Learn to Weld at Golden Bond in Northern Virginia
Permanent jewelry is one of the fastest-growing services in the beauty and boutique industry — and learning to do it well, from people who have built a real business around it, is the single most valuable head start you can give yourself.
Golden Bond has been Northern Virginia's most awarded permanent jewelry studio for two consecutive years, welding thousands of custom pieces for clients across the DC, Virginia, and Maryland area. This is the training that puts everything we know directly in your hands.

Why Permanent Jewelry Training Is Worth It Right Now in 2026
Permanent jewelry — custom-fit welded bracelets, anklets, necklaces, and rings with no clasp — has moved from a niche trend to a mainstream service offered at studios, salons, boutiques, pop-up events, and corporate activations across the country. The demand has not plateaued. If anything, it is still accelerating.
What makes permanent jewelry so compelling as a service is its flexibility and structure. The appointment takes 10 to 20 minutes. The equipment investment is manageable and reliable, especially when investing in Golden Bond Jewelry and Sunstone welding machines. And once you know how to do it well, the technique scales — from a single-chair studio to a full event team serving hundreds of guests in a day.
Golden Bond has done exactly that. From our Great Falls studio to corporate events with the Washington Commanders, Madewell, the Washington Mystics, and luxury hotel activations across the DMV, we have built a permanent jewelry business from a single chain into a full-service experience brand. The training we offer is built on everything that experience taught us — including the mistakes, the refinements, and the things you cannot learn from a YouTube video.
Who This Training Is For
The Golden Bond 1:1 permanent jewelry training is designed for people who are serious about the craft — whether you are building something new or adding a high-demand service to something you already run.

Why 1:1 — The Private Training Advantage
Group workshops have their place — but permanent jewelry welding is a precision skill that benefits enormously from individualized instruction. The angle of your weld, the pressure of your electrode, the way you hold the chain while sizing — these are the details that determine whether a bracelet lasts a year or a lifetime, and they are nearly impossible to coach at scale.
In a private 1:1 session at Golden Bond, your mentor watches every weld. Every question gets a full answer. If you are struggling with a specific technique, the session adjusts to work through it until it clicks. If you come in with specific goals — building a pop-up service, adding permanent jewelry to your salon, launching a corporate events offering — the training is shaped around those goals from the start.
You are not learning from a curriculum written for the lowest common denominator. You are learning from a team that has welded thousands of clients, run high-volume corporate events, and built one of the most recognized permanent jewelry brands in the DC, Virginia, and Maryland region.

This is a working permanent jewelry studio — not a classroom. You will train on the same equipment, with the same chains, at the same bench where our team welds clients every single day. The environment is intentional, professional, and set up to give you the most realistic preparation possible for running your own permanent jewelry service.

Investment — $1,000-$6,500 for Your Private Training Session - Or Team Training & Starter Business Kit
The Golden Bond 1:1 permanent jewelry training is $1,000 for a full private session with one of our experienced welders and studio team members.
Here is what that investment covers:
-
Private, undivided mentorship for the full session duration
-
All materials and chain samples used during training
-
Access to the full Golden Bond studio and equipment
-
A comprehensive curriculum covering equipment, technique, client experience, and business foundations
-
Post-session support — questions that come up after you start practicing are welcome
Permanent jewelry training elsewhere ranges widely in quality and depth. What distinguishes the Golden Bond training is the source: you are learning from a studio that has run thousands of appointments, staffed and managed a professional weld team, and built a permanent jewelry business that operates at scale across events, retail, and corporate activations in one of the country's most competitive markets.
For most people who go on to offer permanent jewelry professionally, the training pays for itself within the first few sessions. A single bracelet appointment at retail pricing covers a meaningful portion of the training cost. A well-run pop-up event can recoup the full investment in a single afternoon.
Is 1:1 Permanent Jewelry Training Right for You?
Permanent jewelry is a precision craft. It rewards people who take the time to learn it properly — and it shows when someone has not. A weak weld is a repair waiting to happen. A poorly fitted chain is a client who does not come back. The technique matters, and the technique is learnable.
If you are serious about offering permanent jewelry — whether as a solo service, an add-on to an existing business, or the foundation of a new one — the 1:1 training at Golden Bond gives you the best possible starting point we know how to offer.
It is not for the casually curious. It is for the person who is ready to invest in doing it right.
